APIME is fully mobilized in this direction. In line with the strategic directions of the Kingdom aiming to promote energy efficiency and sustainable development, in which electric mobility plays a vital role, APIME has defined an ambitious target to install 2,500 charging stations by 2026. These charging stations, which will be installed across the Kingdom according to a well-studied network grid, will allow electric vehicle (EV) users to ensure their urban and extra-urban mobility with peace of mind.

This momentum in favor of electric mobility was further confirmed on July 20, 2023, when the National Investment Commission allocated a budget of 22.5 billion Dirhams to electric mobility.
Finally, APIME naturally works towards the decarbonization of the transport sector, which accounts for 38% of energy consumption and 20% of the country's greenhouse gas emissions. Indeed, the Association is structured into 6 colleges covering the entire value chain of electric mobility, from R&D to installation and operation, including EV sales and certification/training/labeling.
